Family Circle Playgroup’s mission is to foster community, connection, and learning for children and caregivers alike. We provide a space for families to gather, play, and grow in an inclusive, supportive environment that values cooperation, creativity, and shared leadership.

FCP is a non-sectarian organization and does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, or physical limitation.

• Free Play: Children are naturally curious and capable. Our gatherings honor their need for open-ended exploration.

• Caregiver Presence: Adults remain on site, building relationships and support networks alongside their children.

• Routine & Rhythm: Our weekly structure offers predictability and calm, helping young children feel secure.

• Shared Leadership: Every family contributes—through teaching, setup, support and presence—so our program remains accessible and community-centered.

Family Circle Playgroup is fully volunteer-run, guided by a small Board of parents. Families take turns leading weekly classes and helping with small ways such as setup, cleanup or coordination.

No teaching credentials required—just a willingness to share your time, talents, and presence. 

We welcome families from many different backgrounds, each with their own rhythms and parenting styles. There’s no one “right way” participate—we value every family’s unique perspective and capacity. When you join FCP, you’re not just joining a program—you’re becoming part of a circle of support, rooted in the belief that parenting is better together.
